Recovery Facility

DRSA’s Disaster Recovery Centre provides a comprehensive DR environment, to ensure minimal disruption of critical services, at a time when they are needed most. The Facility is strategically situated and is controlled via the Helpdesk on a 24×7 basis. The Centre boasts access- control security systems, with CCTV. Uninterrupted power is supplied via UPS with Generator Failover.

Client Servers are located in client specific racks within the Co-Location environment.
Servers are switched on a 10/100/1000 fibre fabric. Servers are monitored on a 24×7 basis. Onsite technical support and assistance is available during office hours.

Adaptable solutions to meet the client’s requirements.The provision of dedicated hot or syndicated cold & warm – office recovery seats. Syndicated seats:

“Seats” by definition – incorporate the Desktop Workspace, Swivel Chair, High-End Workstation, LCD Monitor, Digital Telephone and Network Access Point.

All Recovery Seats are linked via Gigabit Connectivity across to core to the Server Co-Location Environment.

Telecommunication:

Each seat is allocated its own digital telephone and extension.

All our phones are voice over ip phones and can be configured to be fully functional callcentre seats when required, with voice recording.

Mobile Recovery:

Disaster Recovery SA has recognized the need to extend their service offering to be able to provide mobile disaster recovery solutions. The service allows us to provide Disaster Recovery Services to clients in remote areas and to respond quickly when disaster strikes to enable management teams to function and co ordinate disaster events from a mobile control centre.

All mobile technology centres boast full satellite connectivity to the data centre and are fully equipped with workstations, printers, scanners, a kitchenette, generators, server racks, disabled persons access, air conditioning, wireless routers (for roaming internet access up to 50m around the vehicle) and wireless cameras for quality control via an online URL link.
